Membership is broken down into the following categories:

• Builder Retailers - Companies offering consumers a full range of housing services. Some may operate sales centers displaying several types and styles of homes. This allows the customer to see, touch and experience factory-built housing first hand. Builder Retailers can assist in arranging financing for your home, with a wide range of financing plans, depending on applicant's qualifications. Builder Retailers can also help with land development either directly or by recommending a reliable local contractor who specializes in getting the land ready for your new home.
• Manufacturers - Companies that produce the homes in quality-controlled factory environments. Over the years these producers, using the special skills of workers dedicated to each step of the manufacturing process, produce homes of the highest quality and standards. The homes themselves are subjected to the most rigorous inspection regiment in any segment of the homebuilding industry. Before these homes leave the manufacturing facility, they are certified to have met or exceeded the standards set forward by regulatory agencies.
• Communities & Developments - Companies who own, operate and develop land-lease communities and fee-simple subdivisions for home placement. The land-lease community allows for the home to be placed on rented land, freeing the homeowner from the responsibilities of land ownership. The subdivision allows for ownership of the land and all the benefits in a planned community.
• Finance & Insurance - The segment of our membership that provides funding and protection for your new home. These companies offer a wide-range of financial services to both affordably secure and protect your home.
• Suppliers - Many companies are involved with the factory-built housing industry in a support role, offering products and services that enhance and complete the home owning experience.
• Transporters - The segment of the industry that brings the home from the factory or retailer to you.
